All HonestEDC knives carry a limited lifetime warranty. If you aren’t happy with your product, get in touch with us and we will make it right.
At HonestEDC we strive to make the best EDC items we can, and we are constantly trying to make them better. We spend hours on each product that leaves our shop and ensure it is functioning optimally, but once it leaves it is out of our control. We want you to enjoy HonestEDC gear from the moment that you receive it to whenever you decide to trade, sell, or pass it along to your children.
If you are the original owner of the knife then we will extend a limited life time warranty on manufacturer defects, that does not include wear and tear, misuse, abuse, or alteration of the knife. If you are not the original owner of the knife we will try to fix any issue, but it is at our discretion whether and how much we need to charge for the repair.
If you find that one of our knives is not working correctly, please contact us by sending an e-mail describing the issue. Please do not disassemble or alter the original design in any way. We will advise you on what we deem to be the best course of action. Those actions may include sending your knife back to us for assessment & possibly repairs. We will let you know if the repair is covered under our warranty.
At HonestEDC we do our best to return all knives as soon as possible. Due to the limited quantities that we make of any given model some repairs which require ordering parts are subject to additional repair return time.
Any malfunction due to end user modification or/and removing or changing the factory finish, will not be covered under warranty repair. Furthermore HonestEDC’s warranty policy does not cover any damage caused by disassembly, abuse, misuse, loss, improper handling, alterations, accident, neglect, improper sharpening, or abnormal wear. Repairs or modifications performed by any source other than HonestEDC also unconditionally void the knife’s warranty.
HonestEDC cannot be responsible for items lost or stolen in transit for warranty service.
A small payment is generally required to send your knife back to you, but will be assessed when we receive the knife.
Directions for Authorized Returns:
Make sure that the knife is protected whether that is in the original padded case, bubble wrap, or some other impact absorbing material.
Include: Name & current address to be returned to, phone number where we can easily reach you, a note with what the issues are.
Please note that all payments (if one is needed) on repairs, parts & shipping must be made before any repairs are completed.
